Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains is located in NSW. The latitude is 33° 30' 0 S and the longitude is 150° 15' 0 E. It is 30 minutes west of Katoomba and 60-180 kilometres away from Sydney. It covers 250,00 hectares and rises more than 1,000 meters above the seas level.

The unique aspect of this The Blue Mountains is the abundant flora. The result of the native plants is because of geology and the climate. Alot of the plants in the blue moutains are unique and can't be found anywhere else in the world.They provide alot of spectacular rainforests.An area to look at is the open forests and  tall open forests. There is over 1000 different types of plants. The Blue Mountains also has 100 of the worlds eucalyptus trees.
